About her

Shefali is a Mumbai-based product developer specialising in womenswear and intimate wear — the technical bridge between creative direction and a garment that actually fits.

Six years and twenty-eight collections in, she's known for two things: an unusually patient approach to fit (three rounds is a minimum, not a luxury) and a tech-pack format that production teams ask to keep using long after the project ends.

She works with a small number of fashion houses each season — currently with two indie labels on intimate-wear range plans — and writes monthly process notes in the Journal.
